Shipping Policy

At The Pod Barn, we take care to ensure your live products arrive fresh and in the best possible condition. Please read our shipping policy below before placing your order.

1. Dispatch Schedule

• We ship orders Monday to Thursday only to prevent live products being held in transit over weekends.

• Orders placed after 12pm on Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday.

2. Delivery Times

• Standard UK delivery: 1–3 working days (depending on courier).

• Free delivery is included unless otherwise stated.

• Delivery times are estimates only. We cannot guarantee exact arrival dates once parcels are with the courier.

3. Packaging & Care

• All live products are packaged securely to maintain temperature and quality during transit.

• Each bottle or culture is clearly labelled with harvest and best before dates.

• Instructions for storage and use are included on the product labels.

4. Live Arrival Guarantee

• If your order arrives damaged or with dead-on-arrival (DOA) cultures, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos.

• We will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

• Claims made after 24 hours cannot be guaranteed.

5. Delivery Issues

• Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for losses due to incorrect details.

• Once dispatched, delays caused by the courier are outside our control, but we will always do our best to help resolve issues.
